The?lab?will?be involved in the development of advanced automotive-electronics technologies such as ECU (Engine Control Units), TCU (Transmission Control Unit) and EPS (Electric Power Steering)?for use in FAW?s?vehicles.
?China is a huge market for automotive semiconductors and China?s automotive shipments have ranked No. 1 worldwide for three consecutive years,?? said Jun Li, deputy chief engineer and director of FAW RD Center.?
?Automotive safety and comfort are attracting increased attention from consumers and the market for automotive electronics is also growing dramatically,??said Li.

(2) The method of shaft coupling correcting is not right, which leads to unconcentric of two bearings. (3) The connecting bolt of shaft coupling is not fixed tight equally, and the tight degree is different. (4) Ball mill bearing outer ring is flexible. Settlement: adjust gap of two wheels as instruction statement, and make them concentric. Fix tight the connected bolts with equal force.

HAMILTON, ON (Aug. 26, 2012) Healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables, proteins and total fats are consumed more often by the wealthy while poorer people consume more carbohydrates, says a new study involving people from 17 countries.
The Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology (PURE) study involving 154,000 individuals from 628 communities reported on the patterns of diet, physical activity and smoking, was presented at the European Society of Cardiology 2012 Congress on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.
The study found individuals who were poor, or from poorer countries were more active chiefly because of higher energy expenditure in jobs, at home, and during transportation.
The markedly lower level of obligatory physical activity was not compensated for by higher levels of recreational physical activity in richer countries or richer individuals. Those who were rich and those in richer countries quit smoking much more often so that rates of smoking was lower in the wealthier individuals and wealthier countries.
"Policies to prevent cardiovascular disease need to focus on different aspects of lifestyle among the rich versus the poor and between rich and poor countries," said professor Salim Yusuf of the Population Health Research Institute, McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences and principal investigator of the study.
The study was conducted in 17 countries and coordinated worldwide by the Population Health Research Institute and supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Indian Council of Medical Research, several other peer review organizations and pharmaceutical companies.
"These results provide new insights into the need to customize prevention policies differently for the rich and the poor and for countries at different economic levels," said professor David Wood of the University of London, UK and an expert in cardiovascular disease prevention.

This is Aubergine and Mushroom Ragout from A Vegan Taste of France.? I threw in 4 small courgettes as they had come in the vegetable box and I didn?t have any other plans for them this week, plus I don?t think you can ruin a dish by adding more vegetables to it!? I don?t think the recipe meant shiitake mushrooms when it called for dried ones but that?s all I had to hand so it?s what I used.? I also used a French wine in it (nothing fancy, just a Sainsburys? house one) to stick with the theme.? The recipe said to serve it with rice or bread and s amy kids would attack you for a baguette I went with that option.
Other ingredients include tvp chunks (the recipe tells you how to reconstitute them but I just pulled some already reconstituted out of the freezer), mushrooms and aubergine (obviously), garlic, tomatoes and herbs.? I used a tin of drained chopped tomatoes as I didn?t have fresh having used them all up last night.? I also don?t have a bouquet garni so I threw in a few random herbs in random amounts.? I think it would have been better with the right herbage but I?m not going to buy bouquet garni just in case I want to make this again!
These books can be a little hit and miss and they?re quite old.? They?re also English so it?s all weights rather than cups which I find more fiddly.? They don?t have any index at all in them either which means that I very rarely use them as I don?t have the time or inclination to go through a whole book looking for something I might be able to make, indexes are my friends and I use the constantly so if a book has a bad one, or none at all, it tends to get pushed to the back and not used. This was a tasty meal though and pretty simple to make, plus it?s another way to use an aubergine as Jim seems to like them so much!
We had ice cream for pudding but I want to do a separate post on the ice cream I?ve made recently, plus I forgot to take a picture!
Back tomorrow should I not be too tired from all the cooking, it?s a much more involved meal?

The city owned golf course still under scrutiny tonight. Last week, the city sent a default letter to the company managing the Patch. They gave them until Monday to pay $5000 in back rent or risk having the course go back under city control. The city's letter also addressed concerns about the course conditions. City leaders are also working on a contingency plan in case the company defaults on its contract.
KABUL (Reuters) - Insurgents fired two rockets at the main NATO airbase in Afghanistan, damaging an aircraft used by U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Martin Dempsey, a NATO spokesman said on Tuesday. The general was not on board at the time.
Dempsey arrived in the country on Monday in a C-17 transport aircraft which was parked at Bagram Airbase, north of Kabul, when two rockets landed near the apron late on Monday night, slightly wounding two ground staff.
"He was nowhere near the aircraft. We think it was a lucky shot," NATO senior spokesman Colonel Thomas Collins said.
The aircraft was only being used temporarily by Dempsey and his staff. Shrapnel from the rockets also damaged a nearby helicopter.
Dempsey, who had been in the country for talks with NATO and Afghan commanders on a string of recent rogue shootings, was sleeping in his quarters when the rounds struck and left the country afterwards on another aircraft.
"No one was seriously injured in the attack," a Pentagon spokeswoman said.
Bagram, which is home to around 30,000 military and civilian personnel, is occasionally targeted with rockets and mortar shells fired by insurgents from surrounding hills and fields. In 2007, the heavily guarded base was targeted during a visit by former U.S. vice president Dick Cheney.
Sporadic attacks also occur at NATO's other main airbase in Afghanistan, Kandahar Airfield, in the volatile south, although they rarely cause deaths or major damage.
A Taliban spokesman claimed responsibility for the attack in a text message and denied it was indirect fire, saying it was based on "accurate information". But the insurgents are often quick to claim any incidents as successes.
Before leaving Afghanistan, Dempsey met his Afghan counterpart, General Sher Mohammad Karimi, who raised the issue of insider attacks by rogue forces that have killed 10 American troops in the past two weeks.
"In the past, it's been us pushing on them to make sure they do more," he said on Monday. "This time, without prompting, when I met General Karimi, he started with a conversation about insider attacks - and, importantly, insider attacks not just against us, but insider attacks against the Afghans, too."
Officials in Kandahar on Tuesday sacked the police chief in Spin Boldak district over the weekend shooting of another NATO soldier by an Afghan police officer.
"These actions will not be tolerated. We stand by our partners," the Kandahar governor's office said in a Twitter message announcing the sacking.
Afghan authorities have promised to improve vetting of police and soldiers to curb insider attacks, while also increasing the number of intelligence officers within Afghan units to identify infiltrators and disgruntled personnel.
There have been 32 insider attacks so far this year involving 36 shooters that have led to 40 coalition deaths, just over half of them Americans. Some 69 coalition troops have been wounded. That's a sharp increase from 2011, when 35 coalition troops were killed, 24 of whom were U.S. troops during the year.

A series of earthquakes occurred off the coast of Washington over the weekend.
The first quake happened at 11:07 p.m. Saturday. The magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck 190 miles west of Neah Bay. The depth was reported at 6.3 miles. ?? The second quake, magnitude 3.1, occurred at 12:14 a.m. 183 miles west of Neah Bay. The depth was 6.2 miles.
?A magnitude 4.5 hit at 1:04 a.m. Sunday, 181 miles west of Neah Bay. The depth was 6.4 miles. ??? A few people, from Blaine to Federal Way, reported feeling the 5.5 quake.

WOLFEBORO, New Hampshire (Reuters) - A who's who of Republican leaders, including three thought to be possible running mates for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, will kick off the party's convention this month.
Romney will formally accept the Republican nomination on August 30, after former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Senator John McCain, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and 2008 Republican presidential candidateMike Huckabee address the convention.
Rice, Haley and New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez were mentioned in recent weeks as possible running mates.
Giving a nod to the critical state of Ohio, the state's Governor John Kasich rounds out the early list of convention speakers.
Republican officials confirmed the headline speakers Sunday night after they were first reported by The Tampa Bay Times.
Three Republicans thought to be at the top of Romney's shortlist of possible running mates - Ohio Congressman Rob Portman, former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and Congressman Paul Ryan - were conspicuously absent from the early list of speakers.
Romney has continued to play coy in recent days, telling reporters last week "I got nothing for you" when asked about his decision.
